Affordable Animal Hospital

I’m writing from the perspective of a veterinary professional who also works at the front desk. I rarely leave reviews like this, but my experiences requesting records from this practice have been consistently frustrating. When I call, staff have been curt, directed me to email in a rude manner, and, on more than one occasion hung up on me. I’ve also emailed as requested and received no response when the records weren’t available in their system. A brief update would have helped me know what to do next. Especially when I let them know the patient was coming into the clinic shortly. I understand how demanding front desk work can be. You’re managing calls, clients, and many competing tasks at once. Even on a busy day, callers deserve courtesy and follow-through. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously and improves how it handles records requests

Their website claims that they have same-day and walk-in appointments but they do not according to the woman here and the doctor is out of town and there's no notice of that on the website or anything

They require a new receptionist. I contacted the facility to inquire about tooth extractions, and the individual who responded to my call demonstrated a lack of professionalism. When I requested information regarding the price range, she replied that she did not know and that I needed to schedule a consultation and speak directly with the physician. Such conduct was quite discourteous; if the staff was occupied, appropriate measures such as placing me on hold or requesting a callback should have been taken. Instead, I received an dismissive response implying my inquiries were a waste of time.

I don't recommend going here. Their customer service was rude and couldn't answer my questions and had no desire to help me or my pet when I was just trying to ask about prices.

I want to say thank you to Dr. Kamal Walia and his team, both at AAH and at Westgate. I have been going to Dr. Kamal Walia for about two year now with my three pets, two with disabilities. Recently Dr. Kamal Walia stepped up to helped me and my 16yr old male cat by taking on two very sensitive surgeries with success. Dr. has continued to show curiosity, knowledge and determination for my cat’s aggressive ear cancer. I appreciate the help and care that Dr. and the vet tech team showed towards my old man. He’s playing and cleaning himself again, he is so much more comfortable. Dr. Kamal Walia, I am grateful to have you as a veterinarian!
