Had an emergency visit for my kitty Birdie, she unfortunately had to be euthanized but the staff and doctor were insanely kind and were realistic with me about what would be the best option for her. They are very kind and understanding when it comes to finances and give you an estimate before any treatment is done and explain which procedures would be the most necessary if your budget is tight. They took care of my kitty with love and made me and my fiancé feel very welcomed and taken care of. Despite the circumstances I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and from now on I will always recommend them ❤️ thank you to the staff that made the process easy and not stressful

We went to the Tacoma Animal Hospital when we couldn’t get into our regular vet until Sept 25th with our 12 year old cat, who we were sure had something terrible. We saw Dr. Notte on a next day appointment and he was just wonderful. Our cat is indeed ill with something terrible, and Dr. Notte took time to talk to us about Sam’s comfort and safety, and some guidance about euthanasia when it’s time for that. The cost of the visit and medication was very reasonable. Everyone—the front desk, techs and vet were all professional and very kind. We are VERY glad we took Sam to Tacoma Animal Hospital (on Center Street).

The doctor here is so nice and he was a great comfort when I had my dog of 14 years down. The only thing about this clinic the prices are really high. 101.00 for a rabies vaccine. Over 3,000 for a single tooth extraction. Too Rich for my blood.

I have always felt that staff at Tacoma Animal Hospital have put all energies into keeping our pets as healthy as possible. Thank goodness we can now make actual appointments!
